Privacy policy
What this site (Student Compass) collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to delete it. Policy version 2026-09-02.3.
1. What we collect

We never ask for passport numbers, alien registration numbers, names or addresses. The usage log and chatbot log store no IP address, cookie or device information. Your connecting IP is processed only in server memory, for at most 24 hours, to rate-limit automated abuse; it is never written to a file or database.
2. How it is stored
Email and messenger IDs are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and decrypted one record at a time only by an administrator, for interview outreach, alert delivery or deletion. The server runs on Amazon Web Services (Seoul region), operated by MarketPilot.
3. Who receives it
No one. We do not share, transfer or sell your data to agencies, schools, practitioners or companies. The only exception is a lawful request from investigative authorities.
4. Cross-border transfer and automatic collection
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA): collects usage behavior such as page views and clicks for statistics; this data is transferred to the USA. We never send identifying data (such as your email) to GA. You can opt out with your browser’s ad-blocking or tracking-protection settings.
- Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA): when the Ask chatbot generates an AI answer, the recent questions and answers of the same conversation (up to 10 turns) and the matching data excerpts are sent to the Anthropic API. This is why the screen asks you not to type personal data such as your name or passport number. Under its commercial API terms Anthropic does not use inputs to train models. Nothing is sent while AI answers are switched off (search results only).
- Cookie: one cookie storing your display language (slang, 1 year). No login or tracking cookies.
- Browser storage: checklist progress and “already rated this page” markers stay on your device only and are never sent to us.
- Pretendard web font (jsDelivr CDN): the CDN processes your IP address when serving font files.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or suspension at any time. Declining consent does not limit your access to any information here, and the survey can be submitted without contact details.
- Unsubscribe: the link at the end of every alert email, or the unsubscribe page. Your email is deleted immediately.
- Deleting survey contact details or any other request: write to ceo@marketpilot.it. We act and reply within 10 business days.

7. Changes
When this policy changes we raise the version shown on this page and tell subscribers in the next alert. Effective 2026-09-02 (Ask chatbot added and IP processing stated 2026-09-02, revision 3).
